In the first quarter of 2025, the top news and magazine apps on the Android platform in Norway showed varied performance trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the dynamics of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Politiloggen saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at around 2.1K and experiencing a dip to 1.0K in late February, before rebounding to roughly 2.0K by mid-March. Its active user base maintained a level above 12K throughout the quarter, with a slight decline from over 16K at the start to approximately 14K by the end of March.

X (Formerly Twitter) experienced a varied revenue stream, peaking at $2.6K at the end of March. Downloads remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations around the 900 mark, while active users saw a consistent decline from about 70K to 66K over the three months.
